Tender and juicy steak covered with barbecue sauce. This delicious juicy steak is cooked perfectly in the crock-pot. There is no need to sear or pre cook the steak before it goes into the crock-pot, the crock-pot will do all of the work. The steak is seasoned with a spice mixture of paprika and garlic powder, adding a some spice to the steak. Then the steaks are covered with barbecue sauce. Giving them a delicious summer flavor. Serve with a potato salad and corn on the cob for a delicious summer dinner.
For the type of steak that I used, I used top round that was slices into thick slices. If you use a different cut of steak, you may need to adjust the cooking time. Before the steak is cooked in the crock-pot, it is first seasoned with a mixture of salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder. Season both sides of the steak with the spice mixture before placing them in a large crock-pot. Pour barbecue sauce evenly over each slice of steak and let it cook in the crock-pot on low heat for 8 hours, or on high heat for 4-5 hours. When the steak is fully cooked through, it should be tender and no longer pink.
