Delicious tender shredded chicken sandwiches covered with barbecue sauce and root beer. All slow cooked in the crock-pot, resulting in a tender and juicy chicken. Only three ingredients are needed to make this each chicken sandwich. There is no prep work involved in cooking this meal, just dump all of these ingredients in the crock-pot and let the crock-pot cook it all day until tender.

There are only three ingredients that you need to make this delicious chicken. Just chicken, a can of root beer and some barbecue sauce. Put all of the ingredients into the crock-pot and let it cook until the chicken is fully cooked through and it can easily be shredded with two forks. Serve the shredded chicken in hamburger buns along with your favorite chips for an easy no prep dinner.

Crock-Pot Barbecue Root Beer Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken
  • 1 ( 12 oz.) can root beer
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken into a large greased crock-pot. Cover with root beer and barbecue sauce.
  • Cover and let cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours. Shred chicken and serve on hamburger buns.
