Crispy Baked Cajun Pickles

Easy crispy baked pickle slices breaded in a mixture of cornmeal and seasoned with Cajun seasoning. Everyone will love this easy crispy appetizer to serve for just about any meal or occasion. Serve with a side of ranch dressing, or any other dipping sauce.

The pickle slices are first breaded in a mixture of egg and milk, then coated in a mixture of flour, cornmeal, and Cajun seasoning. Place the breaded pickle slices onto a large greased baking sheet. Bake until the pickle slices are lightly browned and crispy.

Crispy Baked Cajun Pickles

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • pickle slices

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F. In a shallow dish, whisk egg and milk together. In another dish, combine flour, cornmeal and Cajun seasoning.
  • Fully coat each pickle slice into the egg mixture, then in the cornmeal mixture. Place onto a large greased baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
