Crispy Baked Cajun Pickles

Easy crispy baked pickle slices breaded in a mixture of cornmeal and seasoned with Cajun seasoning. Everyone will love this easy crispy appetizer to serve for just about any meal or occasion. Serve with a side of ranch dressing, or any other dipping sauce.

The pickle slices are first breaded in a mixture of egg and milk, then coated in a mixture of flour, cornmeal, and Cajun seasoning. Place the breaded pickle slices onto a large greased baking sheet. Bake until the pickle slices are lightly browned and crispy.

Crispy Baked Cajun Pickles

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • pickle slices

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F. In a shallow dish, whisk egg and milk together. In another dish, combine flour, cornmeal and Cajun seasoning.
  2. Fully coat each pickle slice into the egg mixture, then in the cornmeal mixture. Place onto a large greased baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
