Ingredients
- 16 oz. elbow pasta
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions, drain. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add in garlic, cook until fragrant. Add in flour, and cook for a minute to brown.
- Pour in milk, salt, pepper, and both cheese. Continue to cook over medium heat, while whisking constantly until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened. Mix sauce with pasta.
