Creamy and cheesy homemade mashed potatoes filled with monterey jack cheese. All you need is five simple ingredients to make this quick and easy side dish that everyone will love. The only five ingredients that you need is potatoes, that have been, peeled, cubed and cooked until fork tender, butter, salt, pepper, and monterey jack cheese. Mash the cooked potatoes with the remaining ingredients until the mixture is creamy and smooth.

Creamy Monterey Jack Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese

Instructions
 

  • Place the potatoes into a large saucepan and cover with water. Cook over medium heat until boiling. Let boil until the potatoes are fork tender. Drain and mash the potatoes with the remaining ingredients.
