The potatoes are first boiled until they are fork tender. Drain the potatoes and mash them in a large bowl along with the remaining ingredients until creamy and smooth.
Creamy Bacon Pepper Jack Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Place the potatoes into a large saucepan and cover with water. Cook over medium heat, until the potatoes are fork tender. Drain and mash with the remaining ingredients until smooth.
