Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies made with cream cheese. The cream cheese makes the cookies more fluffy and softer. These easy cookies make the perfect easy dessert to bake for any holiday or occasion. Everyone will love the classic chocolate chip flavor and the soft and chewy texture of the cookies.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic chocolate chip cookie dough, except that cream cheese is added to the dough, and mixed along with the butter and sugar. Use a cookie scoop to place the cookie dough onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until they are fully cooked through.

Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder. In a large bowl, combine butter with cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Use a cookie scoop to place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
