It is filled with two types of chocolate chips, dried cranberries, and roasted peanuts to give it a salty crunch. No cooking is needed at all to make this easy snack mix. All of the ingredients are combined together in a bowl, and either served right away, or store in an air-tight container at room temperature until you are ready to serve. These are great for taking along on a hike or on the go.
The only four ingredients that you need, are some dried cranberries, semi sweet, milk, or dark chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and roasted peanuts. You can replace the dried cranberries with any other dried fruit if you would rather, such as dried berries, raisins, or anything else. The two types of chocolate chips pair well with the cranberries and salty peanuts. You can also add in other types of nuts, such as pecans or cashews. Mix everything together and store in an air-tight container until serving.
