Cinnamon Raisin Cookies

Soft and chewy cinnamon cookies filled with raisins. These easy and delicious cookies are filled with tons of cinnamon and brown sugar flavor, along with the raisins mixed into the cookie dough. These easy cookies are perfect to bake for any holiday or occasion. Everyone will love these easy and delicious cookies.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic sugar cookie dough, except that brown sugar is added, along with ground cinnamon. And raisins are folded into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Cinnamon Raisin Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, and ground cinnamon. In a large bowl, combine butter with both granulated and brown sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the raisins. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and place them onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
