Sharing is caring!

Classic chocolate crinkle cookies are perfect for making during the holidays or anytime. They are so soft and chewy, with a delicious texture of traditional crinkle cookies. The cookies are given a crinkle look by covering the cookie dough in powdered sugar before baking. Then when they are baked they have the traditional crinkle look. These classic cookies are great to make for Christmas gifts with your friends and family.

The cookie dough is made like a classic chocolate cookie dough with cocoa powder and brown sugar. The dough is then rolled into balls. The cookie dough is fully coated in a dish of powdered sugar and placed onto a large baking sheet 2-inches apart. And baked until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Let the cookies cool on a cooling rack before serving.
