Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Easter Eggs

Easy homemade peanut butter balls filled with chocolate chips and shaped into Easter eggs. And covered in melted chocolate chips. Everyone will love these easy no-bake candies for a fun and simple Easter themed dessert this spring season.

The peanut butter dough is made like a classic peanut butter ball mixture, except for the addition of chocolate chips. Shape the mixture into ovals and place onto a plate and freeze while you melt the chocolate chips. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until it is fully melted and smooth. Coat each peanut butter egg in the mixture and set onto a plate. Decorate with sprinkles and let sit until the chocolate is completely set.

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Easter Eggs

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
  • Easter sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix together butter and peanut butter until smooth. Add in powdered sugar until fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Shape the mixture into ovals and place onto a large plate. Freeze for at least 20 minutes. Place chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well until it is fully melted and smooth.
  • Coat each egg in the chocolate mixture and set onto a plate. Decorate with sprinkles and let sit until it is fully set.
