Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookie bars filled with the delicious flavors of cinnamon and raisins. The chocolate flavor goes perfectly with the flavor of the cinnamon and raisins. These easy cookie bars are perfect to bake for just about any holiday or occasion. Everyone will love the soft and chewy texture combined with the delicious chocolate and cinnamon flavors.

The cookie dough is made similar to a classic chocolate chip cookie dough, except with the addition of ground cinnamon and raisins folded into the cookie dough. Evenly press the cookie dough into a greased square baking dish. Bake until the center of the bars comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Raisin Cookie Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both granulated and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • Add in egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the raisins and chocolate chips. Evenly press the cookie dough into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
