Chocolate Chip Butter Finger Cookie Bars

Soft and chewy cookie bars filled with chocolate chips and chopped up butter finger candy bars. These easy cookie bars are perfect to bake for any holiday or occasion. They are soft and chewy, and filled with tons of delicious chocolate flavor. Everyone will love these easy bars for any occasion.

The cookie dough is started out like a classic chocolate chip cookie dough, then chopped up butter finger candy bars are folded into the cookie dough along with chocolate chips. Evenly press the cookie dough into a greased square baking dish. Bake until the center of the cookie bars comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Chocolate Chip Butter Finger Cookie Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped butter finger candy bars

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both granulated and brown sugars until fluffy.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth. Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped butter finger candy bars.
  • Evenly press the cookie dough into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
