Easy homemade cherry cobbler made with a can of cherry pie filling and delicious homemade fluffy cobbler topping. Everyone will love this easy and delicious summer themed dessert. Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

The cobbler topping is quick and easy to make, all of the ingredients are whisked together in a large bowl until smooth. Pour the pie filling into a greased baking dish, then top with the cobbler mixture. Bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick.

Cherry Cobbler

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ( 20 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add in the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the pie filling into a greased baking dish. Top with the cobbler mixture. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
