The brownie batter is quick and easy to make, all of the ingredients are whisked together in a large mixing bowl. If you would rather, you can also use a box of brownie mix and prepare it according to package directions. A can of cherry pie filling is folded into the prepared brownie batter and evenly divided between 12 lined muffin tins. Bake until the center of each brownie cup comes out clean with a toothpick.
Cherry Brownie Cups
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ( 20 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract and whisk until smooth.
- Fold in the cherry pie filling and evenly divide the brownie batter between the prepared muffin pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
