Soft and chewy classic sugar cookies topped with a chocolate candy cane hershey kiss. These easy cookies are so delicious and easy to make. They will make a great cookie recipe to bake for the holiday season. Blossom cookies work with just about any cookie dough and any chocolate kiss. These candy cane kiss cookies with candy cane chocolate and sugar cookies is one of my favorite combinations. It has a delicious mint taste with the classic flavors of a sugar cookie.

The cookie dough is made with a classic sugar cookie dough, after the dough is made it needs to be refrigerated for at least one hour before baking. This helps keep the cookies from spreading out too much in the oven. After the cookie dough has chilled, roll the cookie dough into tablespoon sized balls and roll into a sanding sugar. Place the cookies 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes, once the cookies come out of the oven, place one candy cane kiss in the center of each cookie. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
