The cookie dough is made by mixing a box of cake mix with peanut butter, eggs and vegetable oil until smooth. Fold in Fourth of July themed sprinkles. Roll the cookie dough into balls and roll in a dish of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.
Cake Mix Peanut Butter Fourth of July Snickerdoodle Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 ( 15 oz.) box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup Fourth of July sprinkles
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix cake mix with eggs, peanut butter, and vegetable oil until smooth. Fold in sprinkles. In a shallow dish, combine sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll cookie dough into balls and roll each one in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
