The mushrooms are first washed and the stems are removed. Place the mushrooms on a large greased baking sheet. for the filling, breadcrumbs is mixed with grated parmesan cheese, melted butter, and dried oregano. Fill each mushroom with the mixture. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, and bake until the mushrooms are crispy and the cheese has fully melted.Â
Baked Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Twist stems off of mushrooms and clean mushrooms. In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, melted butter, parmesan cheese, and dried oregano.
- Place the mixture into the mushrooms. Set onto a greased baking sheet. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
