Ham and cheese is a classic flavor combination for sandwiches. But instead of the usual cold ham and cheese on regular bread, these sandwiches are on hamburger buns with melted cheese. These sandwiches are cheesy with all of your favorite flavors of a classic ham and cheese sandwich. But having the cheese melted onto the ham makes this sandwich taste so much better. They are very simple to make and can be ready in 20 minutes. They are the perfect quick and easy lunch or dinner.

Instead of using white bread for this sandwich, hamburger buns are used. The hamburger buns get spread with a creamy mayonnaise and mustard mixture that is made by combining the two ingredients together. Then place deli slices of ham and slices of american cheese on top of the mayo mustard mixture. I used american cheese for these sandwiches because it tastes the most like a classic ham and cheese sandwich. But any other types of cheeses such as provolone or cheddar will work well with the ham. Wrap all of the sandwiches in foil and bake them until the cheese has melted.
