Baked Cheese Tomatoes

Cheesy baked tomatoes topped with two types of cheese makes a simple but tasty side dish. You only need four simple ingredients and few minutes to prep these tomatoes. Tomato slices are topped with cheese and seasoning and baked until the cheese has melted. You can serve this side dish or appetizer along-side any meal.

The only four ingredients that you need to make this dish are tomatoes, grated parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and Italian seasoning. Slice the tomatoes and lay them in a single layer onto a greased baking sheet. Top with mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and bake until both of the cheeses have fully melted.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 F. Place tomato slices on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes.
