Steak is cooked with green bell pepper slices, onion and seasonings. Then stuffed in egg roll wrappers along with sliced provolone cheese. Then cooked in the air-fryer until crispy. These delicious egg rolls are the perfect game day or super bowl appetizer.
The philly cheesesteak mixture is made by cooking steak in oil, along with some seasonings. Then the pepper slices and onion slices are cooked until softened. Mix the meat with the vegetables, and evenly divide the mixture between the egg roll wrappers. Top each with the provolone cheese. Wrap up the egg roll tightly and cook in the air-fryer until the wrappers are crispy.
Air-Fryer Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 package egg roll wrappers
- 1 pound thinly sliced steak
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 8 slices provolone cheese, sliced
Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook steak and seasonings in the skillet until the meat is no longer pink. Remove from the skillet.
- Heat the remaining olive oil in the skillet over medium heat, cook pepper and onion until softened.
- Add the meat back into the skillet and let heat through. Preheat air-fryer to 375 F. Evenly divide cheese steak mixture between egg roll wrappers top each with one half of cheese.
- Roll in an egg roll and air-fry in batches for 10-12 minutes.
