Air-Fryer Onion Rings

Sharing is caring!

Crispy and crunchy homemade onion rings make the perfect appetizer or addition to top on your burgers. The onion rings are just as crispy, even without using any oil to make them. They are cooked in the air-fryer instead of deep frying, resulting in crispy and delicious onion rings. There are so many ways that you can serve these onion rings, such as with your favorite dipping sauce, or on top of homemade burgers.

The onion first needs to be sliced into thick round rings. Egg and milk are whisked together in a shallow dish, the flour and seasonings are added to another shallow dish, and breadcrumbs are placed into the last shallow dish. First dip each onion ring into the egg mixture, then fully coat in flour, and dip back into the egg mixture. Roll each onion ring in the breadcrumbs and repeat with the remaining onions. Air-fry in batches until the onion rings are crispy and lightly golden browned.
