Air-Fryer Chicken Parmesan

It is so quick and easy to make a classic chicken parmesan in your air-fryer. The chicken has a delicious crispy breading, covered with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. This is the perfect meal for any night of the week, it takes less than 30 minutes to make. Serve with a side of your favorite pasta, and bread or a light side salad.

The breading for this chicken parmesan is made with a mixture of egg and milk, and another coating of Italian seasoned breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese. After the chicken is coated, it is air-fried until the chicken is no longer pink and the coating is crispy. Evenly top each chicken with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. Air-fry for a few more minutes, just to melt the cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat air-fryer to 375 F. In shallow dish, whisk eggs and milk together. In another shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese. Fully coat chicken in egg mixture, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Air-fry chicken in batches for 10-15 minutes, top with marinara sauce and cheese, air-fry for another 3-5 minutes.
