Air-Fryer Asparagus Fries

Crispy and delicious asparagus fries cooked in the air-fryer. The air-fryer makes these asparagus fries so crispy and crunchy, breaded with a mixture of breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese. You only need five simple ingredients to make these fries. They make a great appetizer for any meal, or you can serve them on game day dipped in ranch dressing.

The only 5 ingredients that you need to make these fries, are fresh asparagus that is trimmed, egg, milk, Italian seasoned breadcrumbs, and grated parmesan cheese. The egg and milk are combined in a shallow dish. While the breadcrumbs and the parmesan cheese are combined in another dish. Dip each asparagus in egg, then coat in breadcrumbs. Air-fry asparagus in a single layer in an air-fryer basket until lightly golden browned and crispy.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat air-fryer to 400 F. In shallow dish, whisk egg and milk together. In another shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese.
  • Dip each asparagus in egg mixture, then fully coat in breadcrumbs. Air-fry in batches for 10-12 minutes.
