Crock-Pot Barbecue Baked Beans

Quick and easy baked beans cooked slowly in the crock-pot. Baked beans are a great summer time side dish that goes perfectly with burgers, hot dogs, or any summer meal. But instead of cooking these beans in the oven, they are cooked slowly in the crock-pot all day. It is so quick and easy to put the beans together, all of the ingredients are combined together in a large crock-pot. And you leave them cooking in the crock-pot all day, until dinner is ready.

These crock-pot barbecue baked beans are so easy to make. Cans of pork and beans are mixed with barbecue sauce and brown sugar in a large greased crock-pot, along with molasses, onion, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Let the beans cook until you are ready to serve. You can make these beans vegetarian by substituting the cans of pork and beans with cans of vegetarian baked beans instead. You can also add in some cooked and crumbled bacon in the beans if you would like.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ( 15 oz.) cans pork and beans
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a large greased crock-pot, mix all ingredients together. Cover and cook on low heat for 5-6 hours.
