I love candy corn on everything, even with popcorn. Melted white chocolate and candy corn are combined to create a delicious salty and sweet treat for fall. It is quick and easy to make this sweet popcorn with no baking required. All the cooking required in this dessert is the microwave. Make this sweet treat for an easy no bake dessert that can be ready to eat in less than 15 minutes.
I used microwave popcorn for this recipe, but any popped popcorn will work. You can even used pre popped bagged popcorn for this. Spread the popcorn out onto a large baking sheet. Melt the white candy melts in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval until fully melted and smooth. Pour the melted white chocolate evenly over the popcorn and stir in the candy corn and sprinkles. Mix the popcorn and candy corn to fully coat in the chocolate. Let the popcorn sit until the chocolate has fully set. Once set, break the popcorn into pieces and store in an airtight container.
White Chocolate Candy Corn Popcorn
Ingredients
- 6 cups popped popcorn
- 1 ( 10 oz.) bag white candy melts
- 2 cups candy corn
- sprinkles, optional
Instructions
- Place popped popcorn onto a baking sheet. Melt candy melts according to package directions, in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until smooth.
- Pour melted white chocolate over popcorn and add in candy corn and sprinkles if using. Stir to fully coat. Let sit until the chocolate has fully set.
