A creamy and smooth milkshake on a hot summers day is the perfect dessert. Homemade cookies and cream ice cream blended with milk to create this cold and tasty treat. Milkshakes are a must during the summer, because there is no need to cook anything or heat the kitchen up. This creamy cookies and cream milkshake is made with a homemade no-churn cookies and cream ice cream.
To make the homemade no-churn cookies and cream ice cream, heavy whipping cream is beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form. Then sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract and crushed Oreo cookies are folded into the whipped cream mixture. Pour the ice cream mixture into a large freezer safe container and freeze for 2-3 hours. Place the ice cream into a blender along with milk and blend until it is completely smooth and blended together. This milkshake will make enough for 4 large glasses.
Cookies and Cream Milkshake
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 15 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 2 cups milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl with a mixer, beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in in sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract and crushed Oreo cookies.
- Pour ice cream mixture into a freezer safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours. Place ice cream into a large blender along with the milk. Blend until smooth. Divide into 4 glasses.
