Creamy and smooth homemade ice cream with chopped up cherries all throughout. There is no need to have an ice cream maker with this ice cream, just a bowl and mixer. Chopped up maraschino cherries mixed right into the ice cream mixture along with vanilla extract to create a cherry vanilla flavor. Cherry flavor is all though out the ice cream, with cherry juice added to it for added flavor. This ice cream will stay good in the freezer for up to two months, so you can enjoy a bowl of creamy ice cream any time you want.

For the base of this ice cream, heavy whipping cream is beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form. It should resemble whipped cream when it is ready. Fold the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, cherry juice from the jar of maraschino cherries, and chopped maraschino cherries into the whipped cream mixture. Pour this mixture into a freezer safe container and freeze for at least four hour, or until you are ready to serve it.
