Flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder and ground cinnamon are whisked together. Along with milk, melted butter and an egg. Whisk until all of the ingredients are combined and smooth. Divide the muffin batter evenly between 9-10 greased muffin tins. An easy way to pour the muffin batter into the muffin tins is to use a cookie scoop to evenly divide it. Bake until the muffins come out clean with a toothpick.
Brown Sugar Cinnamon Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 10 muffin tins, set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, salt, baking powder and ground cinnamon.
- Whisk in milk, melted butter and an egg. Whisk until smooth. Evenly divide the muffin batter between the prepared muffin tins. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
