Tater tot casseroles are a great easy meal that the whole family loves. There are so many different casseroles that you make, from beef to chicken. For this tater tot casserole, it is creamy and cheesy with beef, vegetables and cheese, topped with crispy tater tots. The best thing about this casserole is that you need only 5 ingredients to make it, making the perfect budget friendly weeknight meal.
The only ingredients needed are ground beef, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, a bag of frozen mixed vegetables, shredded cheddar cheese and a bag of frozen tater tots. The ground beef will first need to cooked until it is no longer pink, drain the grease from the pan. Add the cream of mushroom soup and frozen vegetables to the skillet along with the cooked beef. Allow it to cook for a few more minutes to heat the frozen vegetables through. Spread the mixture out into a greased baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top. Place the frozen tater tots on top of the cheese in a single layer. Bake until the cheese has melted and the tater tots are golden browned and crispy.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 ( 14 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 ( 10 oz.) bag frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 ( 32 oz.) bag frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F. Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. Cook until the beef is no longer pink, drain the grease from the skillet.
- Add the cream of mushroom soup and frozen vegetables into the skillet with the beef and let cook for a couple more minutes, until the veggies are heated through.
- Spread the beef and veggie mixture out into a large greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
