Reese’s Cup Brownies

Soft and chewy chocolate brownies that are filled with Reese’s peanut butter cups. These easy brownies are perfect to bake for any holiday or occasion. Everyone will love the soft and chewy texture of the brownies, and delicious chocolate and peanut butter flavors.

The brownie batter is made by whisking all of the ingredients together. You can also use a box of brownie mix and prepare it according to package directions. Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Place the Reese’s peanut butter cups that are cut in half on the batter. Cover the chocolate with more brownie batter. Bake until the center of the brownies comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Reese's peanut butter cups, halved

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Evenly pour half of the brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Place the Reese's peanut butter cups on the batter. Cover with the remaining brownie batter. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
