Ham and cheese is a classic sandwich combination that everyone loves. Ham and cheese sandwiches made into sliders with Hawaiian rolls as the bread makes the perfect game day meal. These sliders are cheesy and delicious, the sweet rolls are spread with mayonnaise and mustard. These cheesy sandwiches easily pull apart so that everyone can grab a slider as they watch the game. These sliders are also great for weeknight dinners, or to serve at a party because they can easily feed a crowd.
Sweet Hawaiian bread rolls are used instead of hamburger or slider buns. A mixture of mayonnaise and mustard are spread over the rolls and then the bottom half is topped with slices of ham and cheese. For the cheese, I used sliced American cheese, but any other sliced cheese will work as well such as provolone or swiss. Place the top half of the rolls back onto the cheese. Melt butter and evenly brush it on top of the rolls. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake until the cheese has melted and the bread is golden browned.
