- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sprinkles
Ingredients for Buttercream Frosting
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2-3 cups powdered sugar
- 2-4 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add in milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Fold in the sprinkles. Evenly divide the cupcake batter between the prepared muffin pan. Bake for 15-18 minutes. Let cool completely before frosting.
- For the frosting, mix all of the ingredients together until smooth. Pipe or spread frosting onto each cupcake.
