Easy gingerbread cookie dough made completely edible. This cookie dough is not for baking, but instead an edible cookie dough that you can eat by itself or make into truffles. The dough is made edible by heating the flour in the microwave first and having no egg in the dough. The cookie dough is filled with molasses, and classic gingerbread spices like cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. It is the perfect no-bake treat to enjoy during the holiday season.
The flour is first heated in the microwave for about 40-seconds to make it edible. Butter is mixed with both granulated and brown sugar, molasses, milk and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the heated flour along with gingerbread spices to the dough and mix until it is completely combined. Serve right away or store in the fridge until serving.
