The dough for these cookie bars is prepared similar to a classic sugar cookie dough, except with white chocolate chips and dried cranberries are folded into the cookie dough. Press the dough into a greased square baking dish, and bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick. Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.
Cranberry Cookie Bars
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter and sugar until fluffy.
