Brookies are a combination of two classic desserts that everyone loves. A chewy chocolate fudge brownie combined with a classic chewy chocolate chip cookie. Chocolate chip cookie dough is topped over brownie batter and baked together. These classic brookies are the perfect twist on these two favorite desserts.
The brownie batter is simple to make, all of the ingredients are whisked together in the same bowl. If you want to save on time, you can also use a box of premade brownie batter and some refrigerated cookie dough instead. After both the brownie batter and chocolate chip cookie dough are prepared, pour the brownie batter into a greased baking dish. Top with the chocolate chip cookie dough and bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick.
