  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine butter with sugar until fluffy. Add in milk and peppermint extract, mix until smooth.
  • Add in the flour, salt, and baking powder. Fold in the chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
  • Pour the cake batter into a greased 9-inch loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
