It is the season for homemade Christmas candy. I love salty crunchy pretzels and peanut butter, so combined they make a delicious treat. Creamy peanut butter filling gets sandwiched between two salty square shaped pretzels. And dipped into melted chocolate. These make a great no-bake candy to make to give out as Christmas gifts, or as a fun treat to make with your kids. They will stay good in an air tight container for up to two weeks in the fridge.

The creamy peanut butter filling is made by beating peanut butter with softened butter, brown sugar and powdered sugar. You should get a smooth dough. Roll the peanut butter into small balls and place onto small square shaped pretzels. Place another pretzel on top, sandwiching them together. Refrigerate the pretzel bites for at least 30 minutes. Melt chocolate chips in a microwaveable bowl in 30 second intervals, until fully melted and smooth. Dip half of the pretzels into the melted chocolate and place back onto plates. Refrigerate for another hour, until the chocolate is set.
