Tuna noodle casserole is a quick and budget friendly meal that your whole family will love. Only 5 ingredients are needed for this casserole, and can be put together in 15 minutes. Then it bakes for in less than 30 minutes for a quick and easy weeknight meal. I always have cans of tuna and pasta in the pantry so I can make this casserole whenever I need a quick dinner. I left cheese off of this casserole, but if you want it to be more cheesy, you can add your favorite type of cheese on top before baking.
Egg noodles are used as the base for this casserole, cook it according to the package directions, drain and place it into a large bowl. Mix it with canned tuna, peas, cream of mushroom soup and milk until it is evenly combined. I used canned peas in this, but you can also use frozen peas if you would rather. Spread the tuna noodle mixture out into a large greased baking dish. If you would like to add shredded cheese, you can add it on before baking. Bake until for 25-30 minutes, until the casserole is lightly browned.
