Only 5 ingredients are needed to make this meal, just pasta, ground beef, a jar of pasta sauce, canned diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning. The pasta is first cooked and drained. Then the ground beef is browned in a large skillet until it is no longer pink. Drain the beef and add in the pasta sauce, diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning. You can add in any other ingredients, such as canned or frozen vegetables.

Ingredients
- 12 oz. elbow pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 ( 28 oz.) jar pasta sauce
- 1 ( 14 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and place into a large bowl. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks until it is no longer pink.
- Drain grease and return meat to the skillet. Mix in pasta sauce, diced tomatoes along with the juices and Italian seasoning. Continue to cook over medium heat for another 5 minutes, until heated through.
- Mix meat with pasta.
