The 4th of July is coming up soon, and these white chocolate covered strawberries are the perfect dessert for the occasion. Chocolate and strawberries are a natural flavor combination. They are dipped in blue sanding sugar for a easy red, white and blue dessert. These strawberries are so easy to make with no cooking or baking required to make them. Chocolate dipped strawberries are a delicious treat that makes a fun holiday treat to enjoy this summer.

I used white candy melts for this recipe, but white baking chips will work as well. Melt the candy melts or chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until melted and smooth. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, then roll into a shallow dish of blue sanding sugar. Set the strawberries onto a plate and let the chocolate set. You can store these strawberries in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 2-3 days. Keep them refrigerated until you are ready to serve them.
