Cheesy baked ziti, using only four ingredients is one of the quickest and easiest meals for a weekday dinner. Just ziti shaped pasta, a jar of marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese is all that you need. This pasta is quick and simple, and budget friendly as well because simple ingredients are used. It is great for a vegetarian meal or for a meatless Monday. But if you want to add some meat to it, you can cook some ground beef on the stove-top and mix it with the marinara sauce.
I used ziti shaped pasta for this, but if you can not find any penne pasta is a similar shaped pasta and will work well with this. Cook the pasta according to the package directions, drain and place it into a large bowl. Mix with the marinara sauce. Spread the pasta out into a large greased baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese. Bake until both of the cheeses have melted.

- 16 oz. ziti pasta
- 1 ( 28 oz.) jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 F. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain. Mix cooked pasta with marinara sauce and spread out into a large greased baking dish.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
