Creamy Three Cheese Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz. elbow pasta
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package directions, drain. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
  • Cook minced garlic in butter until fragrant. Add flour and cook for another minute to brown. Add in milk, salt, pepper, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
  • Continue to cook over medium heat, while whisking constantly. Cook until cheeses have melted and the sauce has thickened. Mix sauce with cooked pasta.
