Muddy buddies are Chex cereal coated with chocolate, peanut butter, and powdered sugar. It is a sweet and delicious no-bake treat that the whole family will enjoy. There is so many ways that you can make muddy buddies, and many add ins that you can include, such as your favorite candy, or other types of cereal. For these muddy buddies, I used white chocolate chips mixed with peanut butter and powdered sugar coated over Chex cereal. Store the leftover mix in an air-tight container for up to one week.
To make the chocolate peanut butter coating, white chocolate chips is microwaved with butter, and peanut butter until it is fully melted and smooth. Stir in the Chex cereal and powdered sugar, mix to fully coat. You can also mix them in a large plastic bag. Add in the sprinkles, and mix in any other add ins that you would like. Store in an air-tight container until serving.
