The cookie dough is started like a classic shortbread cookie dough, then the cherry juice, dried cherries, and white chocolate chips are all added into the cookie dough. Roll the cookie dough into balls, and flatten each one slightly. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the bottoms of the cookies are lightly browned.
White Chocolate Chip Cherry Shortbread Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cherry juice
- 1/2 cup dried cherries
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine butter with powdered sugar until fluffy. Add in vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- Add in the flour and cherry juice. Mix until it is fully combined. Fold in dried cherries and white chocolate chips.
