Valentine’s Day Snowball Cookies

Easy and delicious buttery snowball cookies made with pink food coloring. These easy cookies have all of the classic flavors of a classic snowball cookie, but with a fun twist for Valentine’s day. They make the perfect easy treat to bake this year.

The cookie dough is made like a classic snowball cookie dough, except for the addition of pink food coloring. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the bottoms are lightly browned. Remove from the oven and roll each cookie in a dish of powdered sugar.

Valentine's Day Snowball Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pink food coloring
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Add in flour and vanilla extract and mix until combined. Add in the food coloring.
  2. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Place powdered sugar into a shallow dish. Remove cookies from oven and roll each one in the powdered sugar.
