Valentine’s Day Snowball Cookies

Easy and delicious buttery snowball cookies made with pink food coloring. These easy cookies have all of the classic flavors of a classic snowball cookie, but with a fun twist for Valentine’s day. They make the perfect easy treat to bake this year.

The cookie dough is made like a classic snowball cookie dough, except for the addition of pink food coloring. Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet. Bake until the bottoms are lightly browned. Remove from the oven and roll each cookie in a dish of powdered sugar.

Valentine's Day Snowball Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pink food coloring
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, mix together butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Add in flour and vanilla extract and mix until combined. Add in the food coloring.
  • Roll the cookie dough into balls and place onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Place powdered sugar into a shallow dish. Remove cookies from oven and roll each one in the powdered sugar.
