Soft and chewy sugar cookies for Valentine’s day. They are made pink with pink food coloring, making them perfect for a fun and easy treat this Valentine’s day. Everyone will love the soft and chewy texture of the cookies and the delicious sugar cookie flavors.

The cookie dough is made just like a classic sugar cookie dough, except for the addition of pink food coloring. Use a cookie scoop to place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake until the cookies are fully cooked through.

Valentine's Day Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pink food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add in egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add in the flour mixture, and mix until it is fully combined. Add in the food coloring. Use a cookie scoop to place cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
