Tomato and Corn Salad

Quick and easy summer salad filled with corn and cherry tomatoes. This summer salad makes the perfect addition to any summer meal, such as grilled chicken, or burgers. There is no need to cook any ingredients beforehand, all of the ingredients are combined in one bowl. It takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. You can make this salad as a make-ahead dish to serve at a potluck or summer barbecue.

Canned corn is mixed with halved cherry tomatoes and onion. The dressing is made with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil, and oregano. Once all of the ingredients are combined, cover and store in the fridge until you are ready to serve. You can make this dish ahead of time for up to a couple of days.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ( 15 oz.) can corn, drained
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredinets in a medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
