Strawberry Swirl Brownies

Soft and chewy chocolate brownies with a sweet strawberry flavor all throughout these brownies. Strawberry topping is added to the brownie batter and swirled with a knife before baking. The chocolate and strawberry flavors go perfectly together in these brownies. This makes a great dessert for Valentine’s day or any other holiday or occasion.

The brownie batter is quick and easy to make, all of the ingredients are whisked together in the same mixing bowl. Pour the prepared brownie batter into a greased baking dish and top with the strawberry topping. Use a knife to swirl the topping into the brownie batter. Bake until the center comes out clean with a toothpick.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberry topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda. Add in eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square baking dish. Evenly top with the strawberry topping and swirl with a knife. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
