St. Patrick's Day Sprinkle Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup green colored sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda. In a large bowl, combine butter with both granulated and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until it is smooth. Add in the flour mixture, mix until it is fully combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Place the green sugar into a shallow dish.
- Roll the cookie dough into balls, and roll each one into the sugar. Place the cookies onto a large ungreased baking sheet at least 2-inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
